FAST: An Efficient Decision Procedure for Deduction and Static Equivalence
نویسندگان
چکیده
Message deducibility and static equivalence are central problems in symbolic security protocol analysis. We present Fast, an efficient decision procedure for these problems under subtermconvergent equational theories. Fast is a C++ implementation of an improved version of the algorithm presented in our previous work [10]. This algorithm has a better asymptotic complexity than other algorithms implemented by existing tools for the same task, and Fast’s optimizations further improve these complexity results. We describe here the main ideas of our implementation and compare its performance with competing tools. The results show that our implementation is significantly faster: for many examples, Fast terminates in under a second, whereas other tools take several minutes.

Embedded Crack Identification in Beam-Column Structures Under Axial Load Using an Efficient Static Data Based Indicator
A triangular model base on an investigation which has done by Sinha et al. has been developed for evaluating embedded crack localization in beam-column structures. In the assessment of this member’s behavior, the effects of displacement slope are necessary. In order to propose a crack localization method for embedded crack, an efficient static data based indicator is proposed for this crack in ...
متن کاملCombining data envelopment analysis and multi-objective model for the efficient facility location–allocation decision
This paper proposes an innovative procedure of finding efficient facility location–allocation (FLA) schemes, integrating data envelopment analysis (DEA) and a multi-objective programming (MOP) model methodology. FLA decisions provide a basic foundation for designing efficient supply chain network in many practical applications. The procedure proposed in this paper would be applied to the FLA pr...
متن کاملAn Automatic Partial Deduction System for Constraint Logic Programs
This paper presents a new procedure of partial deduction of various constraint logic programs. The procedure takes a program-goal pair (P0, Q0) as input and outputs a resultant program-goal pair (Pn, Qn). The procedure always terminates and the computational equivalence of the program-goal pairs (P0, Q0) and (Pn, Qn) is preserved. Pn is more efficient in solving Qn than P0 in solving Q0. Our pr...
متن کاملEmbedded Deduction With ICS
Formal analyses can provide valuable assurance for high confidence software and systems. The analyses can range from strong typechecking through test case generation and static analysis to model checking and full verification. In all cases, the tools that support the analyses use formal deduction in some way or other. ICS is a fully automatic, high-performance decision procedure for a broad com...
متن کاملRelation Between Imprecise DESA and MOLP Methods
It is generally accepted that Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a method for indicating efficiency. The DEA method has many applications in the field of calculating the relative efficiency of Decision Making Units (DMU) in explicit input-output environments. Regarding imprecise data, several definitions of efficiency can be found. The aim of our work is showing an equivalence relation between ...
